A short getaway to Akravati River point from Bangalore

If you're looking for a short getaway from Bangalore which is nestled in the nature and with good views all around, this is the place for you.

We went to this place a couple of times and the views have never disappointed us. This is just a short drive from Bangalore that takes around nearly 1.5 hrs from Nice road Kanakapura Jn. You need to take the Kanakpura road and drive towards Kanakpura town and then take a detour as per the drive map. The road is fairly decent and with good countryside views of the farms and vegetation. You'll love the drive to this place. The last few kilometres are an offroad patch and will need a good 4x4 SUV vehicle to reach but if you're having a hatchback or a sedan, you may want to drive at your risk. The trail is a little rocky at some places and may scrap the underbody of the car if the ground clearance is not good. There's a Shiva temple at the end of the trail and you need to climb up the stairs to reach at the top. It takes about 15-20 mins to reach the top. Make sure you go on a good weather day else it can be real hot out there.

Feel free to connect with me if you need more details of this drive. Have a safe trip!
